Monoprice Drawing Tablet Buttons Not Working
Hello,
We suggest that you update the driver manually by accessing it from the Device Manager. If it doesn't help, uninstall the driver, restart your PC, and have Windows update it for you. Below is an article on how to do these.
Update drivers in Windows 10
Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for your quick reply! I had actually done this already, but I did again anyways!
First, in the device manager, I did an automatic search for drivers and it said it was up to date. However, I did remove and then re-install them manually just to be sure. Nothing changed.
I then uninstalled the drivers manually through device manager, restarted my computer, and let Windows reinstall my drivers for me (it actually installed the same driver I had before) and again, no change. Sadly... :/

I was afraid that would be the answer. I was hoping there would be some sort of way to work around the Windows drivers and just keep them from interacting at all, but I guess that falls on UGEE to figure out... Well, thank you for your time anyways!

What about using the mouse emulation for your pen? Perhaps you could reprogram the buttons for that? E.g. that would be a more important option to me than the Eraser function you seem to get by default. The manual implies there would be "shortcut keys" on the side of the tablet too? Can you use those?
FWIW we have usability issues with the HP stylus that make using it as a pen for clicking irritatingly unreliable, so we just switch to a real capacitive pen for that, e.g. same functionality as a finger but better usability. Ironically in our case the HP stylus works fine for Inking now but before that was dropping out and not doing pressure sensitivity correctly in other apps. I don't think HP really support it.
Good luck
Robert Aldwinckle

Hey, I've been suffering the same issue and have tried everything you have too. So far I have found a temporary fix that involves uninstalling your Ugee M708 drive, restarting the computer and reinstalling it without rebooting again thereafter. It seems to work for the duration your PC is on but then the issue reoccurs after restarting the PC again. Sorry I haven't got a permanent fix but maybe this will tie you over until Ugee hopefully update their drive

Unfortunately, this didn't work for me! :/ I appreciate your help though!
I just emailed UGEE again. Hopefully things can get sorted out soon! I guess this is why you should everyone says to go with Wacom instead. The UGEE hardware is great, but the support and drivers are sub-par... We'll see what happens though!
EDIT: They responded almost immediately with a new driver and IT WORKS PERFECTLY NOW!!!!! :D
Go here: http://ugee.net/download/index/p/1.html and download the one one the top that says "NEW DRIVER 2017"
I tested it in Medibang, FireAlpaca, and Krita, and it worked in all of them! I'm so excited! :D

That driver doesn't work well for me
I'm using Capture One Pro and if I disable digital ink in the tablet config utility then pressure sensitivity does not work, if I enable digital ink then the Pen button No2 won't right click which is essential for making brush changes (opacity/size/flow etc)

I would just like to comment, even though the issue has been resolved, that this has helped me when nothing else would. I tried so many different things and then came across you, who had a problem very similar to my own. Thank you. I was so frustrated I was about to give up.
